Transformational Leadership: 4 ideas to help you be a better leader | Mark 11:12-14
We are all leaders, irrespective of our job title - which is handy, as this week we are talking about Transformational Leadership and how Jesus brings out 4 unusual lessons that will really help us take our place and lead. For instance, we see what Jesus and the Friends TV set have in common, as well as why, in this instance, talking to the plants didn't actually help them grow faster (it had the opposite effect!). How did a humble carpenter become the greatest King of all time? | Mark 11:1-11
Church Livestream: Who were the greatest rulers in history? Google throws out some interesting answers, but what about you? What does a great King look like? What does their Kingdom look like? If you were to write a novel chronicling the journey of that King, what would be included in the story arc? This week, we look at how Jesus entering Jerusalem turns all of those ideas upside down, signalling to the world around that he is a new kind of King, starting a new kind of Kingdom.

On the whole, parents want good things for their kids. And we see this in the time of Jesus too - as mums and dads kept bringing their children to Jesus so that He to bless them - a good thing, right? So why did the disciples scold the parents for doing this? What do you do when Christian ministers seemingly are pushing kids away? It’s a great question…so we thought we ask someone, an expert in being a kid, their opinion on the matter.

At the time of Jesus, there were some crazy ideas about marriage and divorce (that often resulted in a bad deal for women).
